We’re all survivors, but it’s easy to get lost in battle - Carpe Amorem is a lens, a muse, a reminder, to walk in a love that’s contagious. Every action has a reaction, and pieces from Carpe Amorem create a ripple in a sea of hope. Acts of love remind us to pause. In that pause, something happens. A lot of things happen. If just for a moment, we snap out of whatever shade of “sh*t” we were in at the moment. It’s humbling, that feeling to be thought of…to be loved. Isn’t it lovely to say “thank you” and honestly mean it? That glowy feeling of giving a gift is the same as receiving one. That’s the love I aim to seize.
What’s in a name?

Amanda is a Latin name meaning, literally, “she who must (or is fit to) be loved”. (more on that here)
"Amanda" comes from ama- (the stem of the Latin verb amare, "to love") - I felt a connection with the idea of seizing love for others, the way we rise up to seize the day for ourselves. And maybe a little pendant or bracelet would help us to check in with ourselves,…a compass of sorts. And what better gift to give to a lost friend, than true north? Maybe a handcrafted reset button to inspire us to check ourselves before we wreck ourselves. It’s not easy to lean into growth, and so many of us warriors forget to lean on each other.
